Job summary

Veterans Engineering, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aretum, seeks a Biomedical Engineer/Clinical Engineer to manage complex medical equipment across the full lifecycle, including planning, procurement, implementation, risk assessment, and replacement strategy.

You will oversee device inventories, capital asset planning, regulatory compliance initiatives, and networked medical device databases, while advising healthcare leadership on patient safety and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage biomedical equipment projects from planning to testing.
• Lead hospital staff training for medical system deployments.
• Coordinate networked medical device installations and upgrades.
• Assist with medical device inventory management.
• Maintain NMDD and lifecycle databases.
• Support recalls and risk assessments.
• Review security vulnerabilities of medical devices.
• Prepare reports for the Chief of Biomedical Engineering.
