Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a Research Lab Technician to support NIH-funded biomedical AI research in imaging and precision oncology. You will curate and manage large-scale clinical, imaging, pathology, and genomic datasets and work with a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves data preprocessing, quality control, annotation, and analyses of CT/MRI/PET datasets, preparing figures for manuscripts, and coordinating activities with students and clinicians.

Qualificações

• Demonstrates knowledge of scientific principles.
• Strong computer skills; able to analyze and manage data.
• Ability to communicate effectively; public speaking experience.
• Experience in preparing grant proposals with minimal supervision.
• Evidence of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Curate, organize, and manage large-scale clinical, imaging, pathology, and multimodal datasets.
• Perform data preprocessing, quality control, annotation, and documentation.
• Support computational analyses of CT, MRI, PET/CT, and whole-slide pathology images.
• Maintain research databases and data management pipelines.
• Prepare figures, tables, and supplementary materials for manuscripts, presentations, and grants.
• Coordinate research activities with students, postdocs, clinicians, and collaborators.
• Assist with literature reviews, project organization, and general lab operations.
• Participate in lab meetings, journal clubs, and research presentations.
