Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to support the maintenance and repair of clinical equipment.

The role requires equipment records management, inventory control, and coordination with approved service vendors to ensure patient care equipment is safe and reliable. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, with Biomedical Technology credentials preferred, and can work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains equipment records and accurate inventory.
  • Coordinates and completes scheduled and unscheduled repair and maintenance of hospital equipment by approved vendors.
  • Documents work performed, inventories and histories.
  • Updates inventory and control systems for equipment supported by the department.
  • Coordinates operational support logistics including vendor service, depot repair, and equipment moves/staging.
