Job summary

Montauk Renewables, Inc. is seeking a Plant Operator to operate and maintain a Biomass Processing Plant that converts biomass into pipeline quality gas and biodiesel. You will ensure safe, efficient plant operation and environmental control compliance in a team setting.

The role requires mechanical and electrical knowledge, data logging, and adherence to SOPs with on-call flexibility. Strong safety focus and the ability to work with industrial equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a physical environment with dirt, weather, and noise.
• Able to walk on uneven terrain and at heights.
• On-call and varied schedule flexibility.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Biomass Processing Plant and related environmental control devices.
• Convert biomass into pipeline quality gas and biodiesel.
• Record instrumentation readings and log data.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and environmental safety guidelines.
