NAES Corporation is seeking an Auxiliary Plant Operator at the Madison Biomass Facility in Colbert, GA. The role supports safe, reliable operation of biomass plant systems, boiler and emissions controls, with duties spanning inspections, testing, basic maintenance, and documentation.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Experience in power generation or heavy industrial operations.
• Boiler operation or biomass handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of P&IDs and equipment manuals.
• Safety practices including LOTO and confined space.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with start‑up, shutdown, and routine operation of biomass plant systems per procedures.
• Operate and monitor conveyors, feed systems, ash handling, air compressors, boiler feedwater, and emissions control equipment (SCR/ precipitator).
• Perform equipment rounds, inspections, tests, and basic diagnostics to assess condition.
• Prepare equipment for service or removal following Control Room Operator instructions (LOTO, isolation, tagging).
• Conduct boiler feedwater and condensate chemistry testing; support emissions monitoring.
• Maintain logs and shift reports; process clearance and tagging documentation when qualified.
