Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Project Manager II with biomarker study operations expertise for a sponsor-dedicated role. The position is remote with preference for hybrid Foster City, CA-based candidates and requires leadership across cross-functional teams to drive biomarker strategies in global trials.

You will oversee biomarker activities, manage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure compliant sample handling and data integrity across Phase 1–4 studies. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing biomarker studies in CRO/sponsor environments.
• Strong understanding of biomarker and bioanalytical strategies in clinical trials.
• Experience coordinating complex sample collection and analysis workflows.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (GCP, ICH) and global compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Biomarker Study Operations across sponsor programs.
• Oversee biomarker and bioanalytical activities with internal teams and vendors.
• Serve as operational point of contact for all biomarker processes.
• Collaborate with study teams to integrate biomarker strategies into development plans.
• Plan collection, tracking, and analysis of biological specimens.
• Advise on best practices for sample management and logistics.
