UCB seeks a strategic Workforce Development Lead to shape the workforce ecosystem for a new US biomanufacturing operation in Atlanta, GA. You will translate long-term needs into scalable programs and partner with education, government, and industry to build ready-to-hire talent.

Reporting to the Talent organization, you will lead apprenticeships, internships, and cross-functional initiatives across the US and Belgium, ensuring alignment with global standards and manufacturing readiness and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
10+ years of workforce development experience.
Experience designing and implementing large-scale workforce programs in a greenfield manufacturing environment.
Experience leading complex initiatives across different geographies.

Responsibilities

Lead the long-term workforce strategy for a new biomanufacturing operation.
Build apprenticeships, internships, technical training, and early-career pathways.
Design workforce partnerships, governance, funding models, and success measures.
Create global knowledge-transfer, rotation, immersion, and learning programs.
Align internal leaders, education partners, government organizations, and workforce boards.
Evaluate and scale workforce programs supporting manufacturing readiness and growth.
