The advisor will be responsible for advising approximately 300 undergraduate students, providing registration PINs, filing necessary paperwork (e.g., Curriculum Adjustment Forms, Course Adjustment Forms, Applications for Overload), meeting with students on grading and academic concerns, assisting at recruitment events, contacting incoming students, and maintaining records of advisement activities.
Orientation and guidance will be provided by the Biology Department's Coordinator for Academic Advising, who will also supply the list of advisees.
