Job summary

Broward College is seeking a part-time laboratory assistant to support the preparation, setup, and cleanup of biological science labs in accordance with established safety procedures.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, with several years in a science lab environment and familiarity with lab equipment and hazardous materials handling. The position involves Monday–Friday shifts with variable hours.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with biology, microbiology, zoology, botany concepts.
• General understanding of student registration and financial aid processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lab preparation and setup across biology-related disciplines.
• Prepare chemical solutions and media with accurate measurements.
• Return labs to pre-lab condition; sanitize surfaces and supplies.
