Job summary

Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) seeks a Coordinator, Science Laboratory (Biology) to manage lab preparation, setup, and ongoing improvements across multiple campuses, including inventory, waste disposal, and equipment maintenance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a laboratory science and will involve collaboration with faculty and part‑time assistants.

Travel between Jamestown and other GTCC campuses is required, with possible evening/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation and setup of biology lab experiments, exams, and activities across GTCC campuses.

• Collaborate with faculty and lab assistants to plan and improve labs weekly.
• Work independently with strong interpersonal skills and reliability.
• Travel between GTCC campuses may be required; evenings/weekends may be needed.
