Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a community/technical college preferred.
• Familiarity with Canvas, Self-Service, and AVISO is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Biology courses including Anatomy & Physiology and lab components.
• Advise students and hold on-campus office hours.
• Participate in course and curriculum design and assessment.
• Maintain required professional development.
• Fulfill duties of instructors as required by the Lead Instructor.
• Assist in program and learning outcomes development.
• Manage administrative tasks such as grade posting and reports.
• Track attendance and enforce college policies.
• Refer students to Student Services when needed.
• Engage in resource selection and teaching innovation.
• Collaborate with Dean and Lead Instructor on improvements.
• Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Master's degree in Biology (with a concentration in Anatomy and Physiology) or a master’s degree in a related discipline plus 18 master’s hours in Biology / Anatomy and Physiology from a regionally accredited institution.
