Job summary

Campbell University invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Professor of Biology – Anatomy and Physiology to teach BIOL 221 at the Main Campus in Buies Creek, NC starting January 2027. The position may extend to subsequent terms and potentially include anatomy labs depending on needs and enrollment.

The appointment requires an MS or PhD in mammalian anatomy and/or physiology, with teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in mammalian anatomy and/or physiology or related graduate degree.
• Teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
• Strong communication and professionalism are required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct one section of Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology (BIOL 221).
• Develop and manage course materials from learning objectives and textbook.
• Present lectures to students as required.
• Select and compile exams and assignments.
• Interact with students and field questions outside class time.
• Coordinate with lab staff to integrate lab grades into course grades.
• Participate in student evaluations and maintain grades accurately.
