Job summary
Piedmont Community College in Roxboro, NC invites applications for a Biology Instructor to lead Anatomy and Physiology lecture and laboratory sections supporting transfer, general education and health programs. The instructor will develop engaging learning experiences, assess student learning, maintain current curricula, and collaborate with faculty to support student success and college initiatives.
The position requires a master's degree in biology or related field and prior teaching
Qualifications
- Master's degree in biology or related field is required.
- 18 graduate hours in Biology or related field are required.
- Two years teaching experience preferred at a community college.
Responsibilities
- Teach Anatomy and Physiology lecture and laboratory courses.
- Develop and maintain syllabi, materials, and assessments.
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain office hours to support students and maintain records.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program initiatives.
