Grand Canyon University seeks motivated individuals to support learning excellence within the College of Natural Sciences as an Instructional Assistant. This in-person, part-time role at GCU’s Main Campus in Phoenix involves mentoring students, tutoring, and assisting with classroom activities to enhance student engagement and success.

Responsibilities include lesson preparation, grading, and holding weekly tutoring hours, while collaborating with faculty and proctoring exams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• Must reside in Arizona and be available to work in person on GCU’s Main Campus.
• Completed coursework in Biology with a grade of B or higher.
• Strong communication and classroom support skills.
• Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or instructional support experience preferred.

• Partner with faculty to support classroom instruction and student engagement.
• Assist with lesson preparation, grading, and classroom facilitation.
• Hold weekly office hours to provide tutoring and academic support.
• Reinforce course concepts through one‑on‑one and group assistance.
• Support classroom management and proctor examinations.
• Observe and report student progress to faculty.
