Job summary

You will develop the program foundation with strong introductory biology, pre-health curriculum, and certificates in Pre-Health and Biomedical Device Development, while teaching across the Biomedical Sciences curriculum and mentoring undergraduates.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biology completed before start date.
• Evidence of effective undergraduate teaching.
• Ability to contribute to a pre-health and biomedical device development curriculum.
• Interest in building an externally funded, interdisciplinary research program.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory biology and courses across the Biomedical Sciences curriculum.
• Develop and teach courses supporting Pre-Health and Biomedical Device Development certificates.
• Establish a research program involving undergraduates with industry or clinical partners encouraged.
• Advise and mentor undergraduates and contribute to department service.
• Participate in University service and governance.
