Albany Technical College seeks a full-time Biology Instructor for the Associate of Science Nursing Degree Programs. This 12-month position is based at the Dougherty Campus and may include routine travel throughout the local service delivery area. The Instructor must have weekend/evening availability and a Day shift.

Compensation: $74,000–$78,000. Responsibilities include delivering instruction in Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology at the associate degree level, managing dual-enrollment

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in teaching discipline or related field with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
• Teaching discipline: Human Biology, Anatomy/Physiology, Cell Biology, Zoology.
• Related disciplines include Microbiology, Genetics, Biological Science, Pathology, Biology Education.

Responsabilités

• Deliver instruction for assigned programs and courses.
• Instruct Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology at the associate degree level.
• Manage dual-enrollment ground, online, lab, clinical, and hybrid classes.
• Evaluate student progress and provide tutoring to nursing students.
• Collaborate with department colleagues on curriculum and serve on cross-functional teams.
