Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent with 18 graduate credits in related field.
• One year full-time teaching experience minimum; higher education teaching experience preferred.
• Strong background in computers and technology, and excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn, ability to research and analyze data, and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to working with students, employees, and community members from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor.
• Prepare appropriate lesson plans for each course in accordance with approved course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi to appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Develop a professional relationship with students and staff that supports effective communication.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete required forms.
• Be available for student consultation and assist in advising/orientation/registration where appropriate.
• Engage in scholarly and service activities to support student success and program goals.
