Job summary

Grove City College invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Biology in the Biology Department with anticipated start in July 2027. The position covers teaching a range of courses from non-majors and introductory biology to advanced undergraduate offerings in the candidate’s specialty.

Position: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Biology

Office/Department: Biology

Grove City College announces a full-time faculty opening in the Department of Biology beginning in July 2027. Faculty in a broad array of fields will be considered, including but not limited to molecular biology, developmental biology, neurobiology, entomology, or invertebrate zoology. Responsibilities include teaching non-majors and introductory biology courses and/or labs as well as advanced undergraduate courses in the individual’s specific field. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have interest in leading course-based undergraduate research experiences (CUREs). Candidates must be motivated to mentor undergraduate students in research projects.

Grove City College’s Biology program includes five major programs of study: Biology, Biology leading to Secondary Education Certification, Biology-Health, Molecular Biology, and Conservation Biology. The Biology department includes eight full-time faculty and around 200 students.
