The ideal candidate will work Sundays through Thursdays on first shift, with strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and with scientists, and a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and records.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cell culture experience
• Experience in an industrial laboratory or biopharmaceutical environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced lab environment

Responsibilities

• Support bench-scale bioreactor operations including setup, calibration, sampling, troubleshooting, cleaning, and decontamination
• Support CHO suspension cell cultures including routine sampling and feeding
• Prepare cell culture media and stock solutions
• Perform sterile filtration and aseptic processing
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and communicate problems to scientists or lab operations personnel
• Maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, reagents, and consumables
• Monitor inventory and maintain appropriate levels of supplies
• Accurately record data in paper and electronic systems
• Independently perform routine lab activities and weekend sampling/maintenance tasks
• Work closely with scientists to communicate results and observations
• Follow lab procedures, safety requirements, and documentation standards
