Job summary

Company Bioresearch Center in Worcester, MA is seeking a cell culture process development technician to join the Cell Culture Group in the Science and Technology Biologics Development and Launch department. You will contribute to development, scale-up, and transfer of cell culture manufacturing processes at bench scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Bioreactor support activities: setup, calibration, troubleshooting and breakdown/decontamination.
• Media preparation: stock solutions and media preps of cell culture media.
• Daily lab equipment calibration/verification checks– including pH meters, cell counters and biochemical analyzers.
• Inventory, order, receive, and stock lab materials and consumables.
• Independently execute weekend requests for sampling and feeding of ongoing cultures.
• Communicate issues to experiment owners and work to resolve issues.
