Job summary

Catalent invites a student intern to join the Technical Writing team in Madison, WI for a 12-week summer program. You will assist with maintaining and improving document templates, formatting standards, and document management systems, gaining hands-on experience in a biologics environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve documentation processes, troubleshoot Word-based tools, and support project execution while ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality and safety

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a STEM degree with an interest in writing.
• Able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a 12-week period over the summer.
• Prior internship, laboratory, manufacturing, research, or related experience preferred.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk regularly.
• May be required to lift up to 5 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance document templates, formatting standards, and document management systems.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives to increase drafting efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Word-based tools, macros, and related applications.
• Collaborate with technical writers and cross-functional teams to improve documentation processes.
• Manage documentation records, support project execution, and ensure compliance with procedures, quality and safety standards.
