Job summary

MSD in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Control Technician at our Animal Health facility in Elkhorn. You will assist professional laboratory personnel by performing routine testing in virus and cell culture labs and help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and 1–3 years in a biologic lab. You should be able to follow procedures, work well in a team, and operate equipment such as microscopes, autoclaves and balances.

Qualifications

• Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment and coordinate multiple projects.
• Ability to effectively follow procedural guidelines.
• Strong computer skills with excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing in the virus and cell culture labs under supervision.
• Review internal documents for regulatory accuracy and compliance.
• Operate equipment including microscopes, centrifuges, pipettes, autoclaves, freezers, and liquid nitrogen.
