Job summary

Peachtree Orthopedics in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Biologics Program Coordinator to oversee the operational, clinical, and administrative functions of the biologics program. You will coordinate procedures, educate patients, manage inventory, and support research initiatives.

This exempt, full-time role partners with physicians and staff to ensure compliance, service excellence, and program growth, with responsibilities ranging from consent management to data entry for patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent clinical certification.
• Minimum one year of clinical, laboratory, or healthcare experience.
• Experience with biologics or orthopedic healthcare preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate biologics procedures, appointments, and schedules with physicians, patients, vendors, and facilities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for biologics vendors, representatives, physicians, staff, and patients.
• Educate patients regarding biologics procedures, treatment options, pricing, aftercare, and expected outcomes.
• Manage consent forms, patient documentation, and procedural compliance requirements.
• Order, stock, maintain, and inventory biologics program supplies, injectables, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory controls, charge capture, billing support, and reimbursement processes.
• Train staff on biologics protocols, equipment operation, documentation standards, and authorization requirements.
• Maintain biologics laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, sterility, safety, and inventory management.
• Prepare biologic products and assist providers during biologics procedures.
• Apply post-procedure dressings, perform dressing changes, and support patient care activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection prevention standards, and bloodborne pathogen regulations.
• Manage patient participation and data entry for patient-reported outcomes programs and research initiatives.
• Assist with clinical research activities, data collection, analysis, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for program growth, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
• Other duties as assigned.
