MSD in Rahway, NJ, invites applications for a postdoctoral Research Fellow in Biologics Process Research & Development. This multi-year fellowship blends academic focus with a corporate environment to accelerate biologics manufacturing advances and analytical science.

The successful candidate will design and execute multidisciplinary research, publish findings, and contribute to process understanding that informs pipeline development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline with eligible graduation by June 2027.
• Hands-on experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques and data analysis.
• Strong record of publications/presentations and independent project work.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret research studies related to biologics manufacturing and process development.
• Develop and manage an independent research project while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Investigate relationships among process conditions, cell culture performance, and product characteristics.
• Apply analytical, molecular, and biological methods to generate and interpret data.
• Integrate data types using statistical and computational tools to identify trends and insights.
• Present findings at internal/external forums and in peer-reviewed journals.
