Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ; Boston, MA; and South San Francisco, CA is offering a 10–12 week Future Talent Program internship in Biologics Process Research & Development.

Interns will work on projects to develop novel bioprocess technologies and solve challenges in biopharmaceutical process development and manufacturing. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program and commit to full-time study from May/June 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD program in a related science or engineering field.
• Available for 10–12 weeks full-time starting May/June 2027.
• Willing to work at Rahway, NJ; Boston, MA; or South San Francisco, CA.
• Strong academic performance, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments and record results in electronic notebooks.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to develop bioprocess technologies.
• Present research findings orally and in writing.
