Job summary

AFE is seeking motivated interns for the Biologics Process Research and Development group in Rahway, NJ, with locations also in Boston and South San Francisco. Interns will engage in hands-on bioprocessing projects, learn state-of-the-art technologies, and contribute to developing manufacturing processes for biologics.

This 10–12 week summer program emphasizes strong academic performance and teamwork. Interns will record experiments, interpret data, and have opportunities to present findings.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a relevant discipline.
• Must be available to work full-time for 10–12 consecutive weeks starting May/June 2027.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on one or more bioprocessing projects within BPR&D.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team at state-of-the-art labs.
• Record accurate experimental notes and analyze data for internal/publications.
• Present research results in oral and written formats.
