Beacon Hill is seeking a Research Associate I in Columbus, Ohio to support a growing scientific team focused on biologics and advanced therapeutic development. The role involves executing experiments, maintaining cell cultures, data collection, and helping develop scalable manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate has a biology- or chemistry-related background, 0–2 years of lab or industry experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or another related scientific field.
0–2 years of laboratory, research, internship, or industry experience.
Experience with mammalian cell culture and sterile laboratory techniques preferred.
Exposure to bioprocessing, biotechnology, biologics manufacturing, or related fields advantageous.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain and expand mammalian cell cultures using aseptic laboratory techniques.
Support laboratory-scale process development and manufacturing studies.
Collect and analyze routine samples to monitor process performance.
Prepare laboratory materials, media, buffers, and other required consumables.
Assist with equipment operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Support experiment setup, execution, documentation, and sample management activities.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and experimental documentation.
Present findings and project updates to team members as needed.
Assist with routine laboratory operations and scheduling activities.
Foster a safe, organized, and collaborative laboratory environment.
