Job summary

BioTalent in California is seeking a Research Associate to join Analytical Development, focusing on developing and validating protein biologics methods. You will work with experienced scientists to identify and characterize protein biologics and develop methods such as ELISA, Cell-based assays, HPLC, CE, iCIEF, PCR, and SDS-PAGE, with transfer to cGMP QC.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Physical Sciences and 2+ years of relevant experience in analytical method development,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological or Physical Sciences
• 2+ years of relevant experience with analytical method development
• Experience with ELISA, Cell-Based Assays, HPLC, CE, iCIEF, PCR, SDS-PAGE

Responsibilities

• Perform lab tasks to support development, optimization, validation, and routine testing of protein therapeutics using characterization techniques
• Demonstrate proficiency in ELISA, Cell-Based Assays, HPLC, CE, iCIEF, PCR, SDS-PAGE
• Document method development and validation activities according to current practices
• Assist in training analysts and transfer methods to cGMP QC lab as needed
• Work in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work
• Provide regular updates to Process Development and other teams
