MSD seeks an Associate Scientist to lead the Biologics Process Analytics Commercialization Lab, guiding non-GMP analytics and data-driven decisions for a late-stage biologics pipeline. You will manage a small team, drive assay development, ensure data integrity, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver timely insights.

The role emphasizes lab operations leadership, safety compliance, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to scale analytics for commercialization

Qualifications

• B.S. in Analytical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related field.
• Experience with analytical method development and data analysis.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day scoping and prioritization for testing of non-GMP analytical samples.
• Oversee lab operations, scheduling, training, and inventory management.
• Resolve equipment issues and drive capability enhancements.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in the lab.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
• Maintain ALCOA-compliant documentation and development reports.
