Job summary

Bimeda seeks a Plant Manager for Biologicals to lead the manufacturing site with a focus on safety, compliance, and cost efficiency. You will drive strategic decisions, oversee end-to-end production, and partner with R&D and commercial teams to align with corporate objectives.

The role requires deep experience in biopharmaceutical or vaccine manufacturing, strong leadership, and proven capability in regulatory inspections. A commitment to quality culture and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field required.
• 15+ years in biopharmaceutical or vaccine manufacturing.
• 7+ years in leadership roles with operational accountability.
• Proven experience in sterile biologics manufacturing.
• Experience with regulatory inspections and quality standards.
• Demonstrated P&L management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the manufacturing site.
• Develop and execute site strategy aligned with global biological objectives.
• Drive operational excellence, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead capacity planning and long-term investment strategy to meet supply commitments.
• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing (upstream, downstream, fill/finish, packaging).
• Maintain equipment reliability, facility readiness, and technical capability.
• Promote process robustness, validation and technology transfers with KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with USDA requirements and audit readiness.
• Lead capital investment planning, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing cross-functional team.
