Job summary

Bimeda is seeking a Plant Manager for Biologicals in the United States to lead the site’s strategic direction, ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective biologics production, and align with USDA standards and corporate targets.

The role requires 15+ years in biopharma manufacturing, 7+ years in leadership, P&L ownership, capital planning, and strong quality, EHS and regulatory expertise to drive continuous improvement across upstream, downstream, fill/finish, and packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field.
• Advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) preferred.
• 15+ years in biopharmaceutical or vaccine manufacturing.
• 7+ years in leadership roles with operational accountability.
• Proven experience in sterile biologics manufacturing.
• Experience with regulatory inspections and quality standards.
• Demonstrated P&L management experience.
• Proven track record in vaccine, biologics, or sterile manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational leadership for the site.
• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing (upstream, downstream, fill/finish, packaging).
• Ensure audit readiness, regulatory inspections, and a strong quality culture.
• Provide full P&L ownership and lead capex planning.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing cross-functional team.
• Represent the site with regulators, partners, and authorities.
• Oversee EHS, risk management, and business continuity programs.
