Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a candidate for cGMP manufacturing operations in our biologics production facility in Worcester, MA. You will work with engineers on set-up, calibration, rework and quality testing for production parts, components and materials, using systems like LIMS and SAP to collect data and guide on-line adjustments.

The role covers shipping finished materials, inventory maintenance, sampling, autoclaving, buffer/media prep, CIP/SIP, cell culture, chromatography and tangential flow

Qualifications

• Associates degree in science or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 1+ year relevant experience.
• BS in Engineering with 0+ year relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Shipping finished materials.
• Maintaining inventory levels.
• Sampling of in process and raw materials.
• Running glass washer / autoclave.
• Buffer / media preparation.
• Equipment preparation (CIP/SIP).
• Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).
• Column chromatography.
• Tangential flow filtration.

Education

Associates degree in science, or equivalent experience

Bachelor's degree, with 1+ years relevant experience

BS in Engineering, with 0+ year relevant experience
