Celcuity Inc. is seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist to tackle complex experimental and clinical bioinformatics data sets, reporting to the Bioinformatics Senior Principal Investigator.

You will collaborate with R&D teams and external stakeholders to execute omics studies and advance predictive modeling in preclinical and clinical contexts. Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in biology, chemistry or bioinformatics with strong omics analysis skills.
• Experience using ML/AI tools for omics, disease modeling or drug development pipelines.
• Proficient in bioinformatics with R/Python and cloud computing; experience building user-facing visualization/reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of cell biology and molecular biology concepts relevant to preclinical/clinical models.

Responsibilities

• Execute bioinformatics studies in collaboration with R&D wet-lab scientists, clinical teams, and bioinformaticians.
• Communicate results in meetings and prepare abstracts/manuscripts for publications.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to select data capture technologies and models.
• Develop and validate reproducible bioinformatics pipelines (Nextflow/Snakemake, Git, Docker).
• Refine Omics workflows (bulk/single-cell/spatial) with ML/AI to enable end-to-end analyses.
• Apply predictive models to wet-lab data within drug discovery pipelines.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation for reproducibility and data integrity.
