Job summary

Qualifications

5+ years of previous work experience in a full-stack developer role.
BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or related field.
MS or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or related field.
Experience managing and analyzing large-scale datasets produced by DNA sequencing platforms and delivering solutions for managing, visualizing, analyzing, and interpreting genomic data.

Responsibilities

Work with a team to develop and test full-stack software for analysis and interpretation of whole genome sequencing data, including front and back-end software components.
Implement and test data processing workflows and automated analysis pipelines. Optimize reproducible software pipelines that produce consistent, standardized results.
Oversee workflow bench marking and testing, identifying inconsistencies and resolving issues.
Contribute to management of computing hardware, operational logistics, and data warehousing.
Contribute to the preparation of standard operating procedures, document source code/workflows, and write reports to summarize computational requirements, processing status, and customized analysis results.
Communicate and interact regularly with project team members and stakeholders.
