Qualifications

• MS/PhD in a relevant field; alternatively MS with strong computational and biology exposure.
• 2+ years post-graduate research experience handling large biological datasets.
• Advanced knowledge of genetics and statistics software; programming experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead bioinformatics analyses for genomic data, including microarrays and sequencing.
• Develop Varimpact and an impact database of genetic variants for literature search.
• Write custom scripts for analysis of high-throughput genomic data.
• Manage databases, perform statistics, and contribute to manuscripts.
• Collaborate with wet-lab biologists and provide bioinformatics support.
