Job summary

The role collaborates with clinicians across departments to optimize system use, supports data profiling, and helps implement analytics and performance metrics.

Responsibilities include gene curation, variant assessment, report drafting, data flow management, and assisting in test development for clinical pipelines.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of clinical informatics concepts and workflows.
• Advanced ability to explain technical information to clinical users.
• Experience with data integration, governance, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical operations of genetic testing lab through gene curation and variant assessment.
• Analyze clinical data and apply HGVS nomenclature.
• Draft provisional medical reports for lab director review and sign out.
• Ensure HIPAA/CLIA compliance in handling patient data.
• Develop and maintain clinical variant annotation databases.
