Job summary

B Positive Plasma LLC in Holmes, PA is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to maintain safety and cleanliness of our facility under the Center Manager and site supervisors. The role requires knowledge of proper disposal of biohazard waste in line with FDA regulations and SOP guidelines, and exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.

The Environmental Services Tech will perform cleaning across donor areas, restock supplies, and assist in shipments as needed, with travel up to 25

Qualifications

High school degree or GED required.
Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
Able to learn new procedures quickly.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Able to work independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning of public areas, donor beds, and ancillary areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for staff, donors, and visitors.
Cleans and disinfects assigned areas following department procedures.
Properly disposes of infectious/biohazard waste and trash throughout the facility.
Maintains cleanliness of the biohazardous waste room and storage areas.
Restock supplies in all donor areas and assist with shipments as needed.
Travel up to 25 miles to other facilities for training or staffing support.
Communicate issues to center management or other necessary parties.
