Job summary

SOKOL GxP Services seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to certify and service controlled-environment systems across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. This full-time, home-based position requires frequent regional travel and occasional overnight assignments.

You will perform certification, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on biosafety cabinets, cleanrooms, and related containment equipment in regulated environments, with emphasis on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience certifying, testing, maintaining, or repairing controlled-environment systems.
• Direct experience certifying or servicing biological safety cabinets, laminar airflow workstations, cleanrooms, and related containment equipment.
• Proficient using certification instrumentation and reading engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform certification and testing of biological safety cabinets (Class I, II, III).
• Certify laminar airflow workstations, clean benches, isolators, and containment equipment.
• Conduct ISO 14644-compliant cleanroom certification testing.
• Perform airflow, particle counting, differential pressure, and environmental measurements.
• Troubleshoot airflow, containment, mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain calibration records.
• Travel frequently across PA, NJ, and NY with occasional overnight assignments.
