Job summary

B Positive Plasma is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to maintain safety and cleanliness under the Center Manager's supervision, adhering to FDA/state regulations and SOP guidelines for biohazard waste.

Duties include cleaning donor beds and public areas, disinfecting surfaces, disposing of waste, restocking supplies, and assisting with shipments; travel up to 25 miles for training.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas, donor beds, and ancillary areas to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Clean and disinfect assigned areas following department procedures.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals.
• Disposal of infectious/biohazard waste and trash according to procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the biohazardous waste room.
• Maintain work and storage areas following safety policies.
• Restock supplies in donor areas.
• Assist with unstocking supplies and distributing deliveries.
• Communicate issues to center management or other necessary parties.
• Assist in shipment of product from the center.
• Travel up to 25 miles for training or staffing support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
