AD Energy Recruitment is partnering with an established renewable energy organization to appoint a hands-on Maintenance Lead for two biogas facilities in Buffalo, NY. You will own maintenance programs, improve equipment reliability, and support safety and plant performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, troubleshooting, and collaboration with operations to minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial maintenance with leadership/coordinating experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background in industrial settings.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, schematics and manuals.
• _CMMS experience_ for maintenance planning and asset tracking.
• Familiarity with biogas, RNG, anaerobic digestion or related industries is a plus.
• Committed to safety, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily maintenance across two facilities to meet operational needs.
• Develop and manage preventative and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Provide hands-on mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and fixes.
• Plan scheduled maintenance, inspections, shutdowns, and repairs.
• Interpret technical drawings and engineering docs for maintenance work.
• Support RCA investigations and implement long-term actions.
• Work with operations to improve efficiency and plant performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes and reliability.
• Promote safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate external contractors and procurement for maintenance services.
