Job summary

Roeslein Renewables, a division of Roeslein & Associates, seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of the biogas generation system (lagoon cover) and the biogas flare system. The role requires safe travel between multiple farms and strict adherence to safety protocols.

You will perform equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and assist Biogas Technicians while upholding high safety, quality, and compliance standards in a dynamic farm/processing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; trade school technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver license and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record report.
• Excellent communication skills; both oral and written are required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organization and planning skills required.
• Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs are required.
• Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
• Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
• Employees may be subject to DOT testing and must comply with DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain process equipment, including blowers, flares, instrumentation and controls.
• Perform testing and analysis on lagoon performance.
• Support and assist the work of the Biogas Technicians.
• Safely drive between multiple farms.
• Follow all safety requirements including wearing a full face respirator for several hours at a time.
• Perform duties related to maintenance and appearance of operational facilities, including vegetation management and grounds keeping.
• Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and comply with safety and company requirements.
