Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Process Engineer for membrane gas applications in St. Louis, focusing on biogas upgrading. You will collaborate across Commercial, Engineering, Quality, Business, Product Strategy, and Development teams to support inquiries, troubleshoot systems, and develop new offerings.

The role requires 3+ years of process engineering, strong communication, and willingness to travel—domestically and internationally around 10%—to support global customers and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of Process Engineering experience is required.
• Membrane systems and gas processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Aspen heat & material balance simulations for membrane systems.
• Evaluate new applications and determine product fit for membranes.
• Lead R&D programs for new applications and products.
• Support P&ID development, operability and hazard reviews.
• Provide on-site service support and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Train customers on safe installation and operation of membranes.
