Air Products Membrane Solutions in St. Louis, MO seeks a Product Development Technician to support membrane and product development efforts, collaborating with engineers, scientists, and operations to advance new membranes and existing product enhancements across markets.

Responsibilities include safe operations, lab and Pilot Plant hollow fiber spinning, executing experiments, recording data, maintaining notebooks, troubleshooting equipment, and analyzing processes for safety and technical

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science field preferred.
• 0-3 years’ experience in chemical or lab environment, preferably with polymers.
• Strong communication and teamwork; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude and hands-on skills with lab equipment.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; computer literacy for analytical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely contribute to the company's safety culture.
• Conduct hollow fiber membrane spinning in lab and pilot plant.
• Execute experiments under project leaders to support gas separation, membrane development, and scale-up.
• Record and analyze test data; maintain lab notebooks.
• Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and modify lab equipment.
• Analyze equipment/process for potential technical and/or safety issues.
