Job summary

Land O'Lakes is seeking a Biofuels Corporate Strategy Manager to lead selected workstreams, shape strategic direction, and coordinate external partnerships. The role reports to senior leadership and requires cross-functional collaboration across finance, operations, and partnerships while managing project scope and milestones.

The position emphasizes strong analytical rigor, stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex negotiations within the biofuels and broader agribusiness

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business experience (e.g., management consulting, strategy, investing, product management, or related roles)
• Ability to travel ~3–6 days per month
• Proven experience leading projects from start to finish
• Experience digging beyond surface-level information and conducting primary/secondary research
• Ability to synthesize insights into actionable business implications
• Strong communication of complex ideas to senior leadership
• Foundational knowledge across strategy, sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance/accounting
• MBA strongly preferred and food/agri-business experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead 1–2 biofuels workstreams day to day
• Define workstream objectives and decision criteria
• Informally manage a working team providing input, analysis, and documentation
• Provide regular updates to Senior Executive Leadership
• Represent workstreams in internal and external discussions including with executives
• Identify and mitigate dependencies and tradeoffs between workstreams
• Lead workstream examples such as overall program strategy and external negotiations
