Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a Biofuels Corporate Strategy Manager to drive strategic initiatives across the biofuels and agribusiness landscape. The role offers remote work throughout the United States with an option to work from the Arden Hills, Minnesota headquarters.

You will lead multiple workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and translate market dynamics and financial insights into actionable strategies for senior executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, social sciences, or related discipline; MBA strongly preferred.
• At least four years in management consulting, corporate strategy, investing, product management, or related business roles, especially in food, agriculture, energy, or oil and gas.
• Experience leading projects from conception through execution and coordinating stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, research, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent executive communication and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ability to travel roughly 3–6 days per month and work remotely or in-office.

Responsibilities

• Lead one to two biofuels-related workstreams within a broader strategic program, coordinating delivery of key objectives.
• Define workstream goals, decision criteria, key questions, and structured plans to achieve outcomes.
• Plan resources, milestones, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with broader objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to develop recommendations.
• Provide progress updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Engage in market research, financial analysis, and operating model design.
• Support negotiations and development of strategic partnerships.
• Synthesize data into actionable insights for business decisions.
