Job summary

Elanco in Elwood, KS, is seeking a QC Consultant, Biochemistry, to join the Quality Control organization. You will perform biochemistry testing, provide advanced technical expertise across analytical methods, lab investigations, and process improvements, and lead medium-scale projects independently.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Biochemistry or related field with 5+ years of QC experience, strong data interpretation, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on quality control testing in a biochemistry or analytical lab.
• Proficient in analytical laboratory methods and QC data interpretation.
• Ability to anticipate and resolve complex technical problems independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review biochemistry testing (in-process, release, raw-material, stability, and specialized analyses).
• Serve as SME for analytical methods, equipment, reagents, and QC data; support method validation and transfer.
• Lead troubleshooting and investigations, including deviations and CAPAs.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects with QA, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and labs.
• Identify process improvements and drive compliant, sustainable lab practices.
