Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory tests and procedures with minimal supervision and documents results.
• Maintains accuracy while handling varying workloads and follows policies for recording and reporting results.
• Performs preventive maintenance and instrument checks; records actions in logs.
• Investigates variances/interference and follows up with additional testing to ensure accuracy.
• Calls critical values to nursing units and documents time and recipient.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
