Job summary

Revvity in sunny San Diego seeks a Biochemist for the LEGENDplex group to oversee manufacturing of immunoassay components and kits. You will plan, produce, and test, ensuring quality and proper documentation while coordinating with Product Development for seamless transfers to Manufacturing.

You will work in a hands-on lab environment, handling antibody conjugations, in-process testing, and data analysis, with cross-functional collaboration to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with relevant experience OR
• New graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in a Biology, Chemistry, or other related field and 1+ years of relevant academic or professional experience
• 1+ years hands-on experience with immunoassays such as ELISA or other functional assays
• One year of Good Laboratory Practice and Good Documentation Practice experience
• Working experience in GMP industry and ISO13485 standards compliance
• Good time management and planning skills
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
• Basic computer skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Manufacture kit components including antibody-bead coupling conjugations, antibody-biotin conjugation, and various formulations
• Work with bottling, labeling, and storing components according to standard operating protocols
• Perform in-process testing to ensure the quality of components and kits
• Document, analyze, and review data
• Manage inventory, plan, and execute scheduled production work-orders
• Solve complex problems in practical ways, both within the department and with cross-functional teams
• Exercise daily judgement within defined procedures to determine appropriate action
• Assist packaging and assembly functions during peak demand
