Job summary

BioLegend, a Revvity company in San Diego, seeks a Quality Control Associate I - Bioassay to perform QC testing on antibodies and proteins across flow cytometry, IHC, ELISA and bioassays. Work follows SOPs and ISO requirements; may involve cell culture, sample prep, and data documentation.

You will maintain a safe lab, support data review with the team, and ensure timely completion of assays Mon-Fri 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 12 months lab experience, or Bachelor’s in a scientific discipline with lab experience.
• 1 year of hands-on lab experience.
• 1 year of hands-on sterile cell culture techniques.
• Experience with flow cytometry, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, bioassays, ELISA and IHC/ICC.
• Good documentation practices and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of reagents per SOP in a timely manner.
• Perform aseptic cell culture.
• Isolate primary cells and tissues.
• Perform data analysis and document results.
• Work with lead to review data and support conclusions.
• Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment following safety regs and best practices.
• Other projects or responsibilities may be required.
