Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Biobank Scientist on a 40-hour weekday schedule at the Spring House, PA Biobank facility. The role involves hands-on handling of biological samples (frozen and ambient) and related administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with Quality System processes and regulatory knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate as trained in the specimen repository system.
• Receive shipments for various study samples at Biobank facility.
• Maintain detailed documentation to track receipt and distribution of specimens.
• Communicate with the group on sample identity and integrity questions.
• Liaise with Biobank and other departments for sample transfers.
• Assist in freezer maintenance and defrost activities when needed.
• Perform sample inventory, pulls, or barcode transfers in regulatory system.
